At Antler, we’ve always been obsessed with building and fixing things to help others.
We like making things work, and work better for our customers. “We” means our colleagues, family and friends; including our long-term Customers.
Everything (and anything) Antler offers serves the Professional “Fixer”, powering their tools and equipment, providing more energy for more work, enhancing their inputs to provide their customers with superior output. Which is why Antler has been the “go to” professional pump and motor company for New York City’s buildings (and builders!), for over 73 years.
So, our Purpose is to enable Professional Fixers to do more work- better- and more easily, to have more time to focus on Craft and less on working towards crafting. This is Antler’s “Why”.
Now that it’s been adopted by the Omnia Mechanical Group, aka “the portfolio of Excellence” we plan on expanding Antler’s service area and brand word of mouth well beyond the city for its next 73 years.

“When my water shut off completely, Sam answered my call and David at my house before sunrise to get everything back in order before I had to leave for work. Ridiculously superior work ethic, manners, and diligence! Antler is my go-to…permanently”
“Our well pump went out a day before Christmas just as family started pouring in from around the country…I called on Antler Sunday morning and we had our water back on by breakfast Christmas Day (within 24 hours). Best service- of any type of service- I’ve ever seen, and I work in the ‘Services Industry!’ I thank you, and my extended family thanks you (not the least because as we’re about to sit down to a turkey feast and our dozen travelers are all well-showered and ‘fresh’!”
“Our entire neighborhood’s power went out for half an hour last week, when it came back on, I was still fielding calls from my assistant property manager from dozens of tenants without running water. When I called Antler my intro was: ‘I’m not sure what the problem is’, and Sam (Antler) calmed me with “don’t worry, we just did a similar job in your neighborhood, it should only take an hour or two for to get your building back up and running’…Talk about a ‘soft sell’! Their tech, David, showed up in under an hour, ready for anything. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, had everything he needed was on the truck with him, he pulled the parts needed, fixed a central pump, then restarted our (3) pumps, saving us several hundreds of dollars in the service call alone and explaining the pump’s ten year warranty covered all of the parts on top of everything. Antler is the best.”

Antler has a dedicated Balancing team of trained Technicians and Engineers. Depending on the application and conditions, balancing can be done at your site or in our shop.
We offer dynamic balancing services to correct the most common cause of premature failure in rotating machinery. Unbalance is caused by the uneven distribution of mass around the axis of rotation. If you repair a machine, replace bearings, or perform other service and still experience noise and vibration, you are most likely experiencing imbalance. Our on-site field balancing services are for in-service equipment at your facility, whereas our shop balancing services are for components that can be brought to our shop.
This includes production balancing on new components prior to being installed by a manufacturer, and various rotors that may have been removed for repair. We can balance almost every type of rotating component. Our balancing machines have state of the art measuring systems and computerized print-out capability to document the balancing process and the final result.
We have the capacity to balance parts weighing under one ounce up to 2,000 pounds. All balancing is performed to the industry standard for the application and part supplied, under ISO standards.
As business owners, we understand that you often can’t wait to have your pump, motor or compressor repaired, you need it –or your customers need their work done- now. So we offer emergency service throughout the five boroughs and –now- Westchester (new!). When you need emergency service, we have the tools, parts and people to complete the repair quickly. Our friendly, focused and knowledgeable technicians get your work done right so that you can get back to work.
Our technicians work on all types of air compressors and deliver accurate and thorough work on every service call. In addition to installations and repairs on air compressors, we also offer maintenance contracted hydrostatic tank tests. And we can customize a maintenance contract to suit your business. We perform hydrostatic tank tests in accordance with the New York City Fire Department.

We know the ins and outs of heating pumps, water booster pumps, sewage ejector pumps, and more. That’s part of why Antler’s earned the NY Metro nickname: “The Pump Guys”.
We carry a large selection of electric motor and electric motor-related parts, and our pumps range from (electric motor) to air and hydraulic driven pumps for standard and specialty needs. Rooftop Fans. Select from a wide range of fan and blowers for commercial, institutional and industrial roof installations. There are products for exhaust, supply, recirculate, filtered, process and gravity applications. These products use two styles of fans direct drive, used where maintenance access is difficult, or belt drive, which allows adjustment of fan speed for system balancing. Fresh Air Fans. Supply air fans, intake fans, supply fan and make-up air blowers are used for situations where fresh and or clean make-up air needs to be replaced at a faster rate than standard ventilation, that is with excess exhaust creating (negative) pressure. Sometimes a particular static pressure must be present in the area to meet certain requirements.
We Carry a Wide Selection of air compressors. From Contractor and Commercial to Consumer and Industrial Air Compressors, we have what you’re looking for. Suitable for garages, body shops, workshops, small manufacturing and light engineering applications.
We offer electric motor, air, & hydraulic driven pumps for standard and specialty needs. In fact, Antler’s nickname is “The NYC Pump Guys” based on our breadth and depth of products and service capabilities that we’ve built and grown over the last 70 years. We are experts at identifying old or discontinued pumps and determining the modern equivalent unit.
Pump controls keep tabs on how each of your heavy-duty pumps is running and whether your system is operating at your required flow rate. Monitor pumps with a required flow rate by incorporating a flow sensor and pump switches. Select a flow switch to redirect liquids to your backup pump when the flow rate drops. Keep pumps from running dry by monitoring the fluid levels in tanks using a float switch, flowmeter or other pump controls.
Condensate pumps are used to pump the condensate (water) produced in an HVAC (heating or cooling), refrigeration, condensing boiler furnace, or steam system. More specifically, condensate pumps may be used to pump the condensate produced from latent water vapor in any of the following gas mixtures:
Ejector Pumps are designed to handle raw sewage and solid waste materials. These pumps are normally used to push raw sewage to a septic tank, aerobic treatment system, or gravity sewer main. Submersible/Ejector Pumps have a 2” or 3” discharge and can handle up to 2” spherical solids.
Energy Efficient circulators (small in-line pumps) for hydronic heating, potable water recirculation (plumbing), and solar thermal applications. Circulators are cast iron or lead-free bronze constructed with oil lubricated, wet rotor or dry rotor bearings.
The cooling tower water circulating pumps are critical to the chiller systems they serve. Your chilled water system may even have more than one type of chill water pump, with a primary pump circulating water through your chiller and another to circulating water through the building.
All of your chill water or condenser water pumps should have good seals, bearings, rotating components and drive motors. Both loops have controls, bypasses and valves that are often neglected for inspection and maintenance. The pump strainers should also be cleaned.
Standpipe systems are a series of pipe which connect a water supply to hose connections; an extension of the fire hydrant system designed to provide a pre-piped water system for building occupants or the fire department. Some older buildings only have standpipe systems while many newer buildings will have a combination system, which supplies the fire sprinkler system and the standpipe system, but of course –at Antler- we have the right products for your standpipe of combination needs.
A roof tank pump moves water into a tank located on or above the roof of a building. The water then returns to the building and is pressurized by gravity as it falls.
Booster Pumps are designed primarily for raw-water supply, pressure boosting, irrigation and dewatering use. The booster ensures a constant supply of fresh water and an integrated speed controller enables the booster to keep constant pressure in the pipe system. A pressure sensor, monitoring changes in the water consumption, will signal to the speed controller to change the motor speed to adapt performance to the new state. No external motor protection is required since the motor incorporates thermal protection against slow overloading and blocking.
We ship all products locally, regionally, and nationally, every day, and if ordered before noon, on the same day.
